... LET'S CELEBRATE!

We're heading out to the park for a good old fashioned BBQ & Potluck to celebrate just how awesome One Brick volunteers are!

One Brick will provide Burgers, Dogs, Beer & Water. You provide the appetite! If you'd like to bring a home made side dish (salad, cookies, ...) that would be awesome!  Perhaps you have an old family recipe that you remember from your childhood? Why not whip up a batch of your Gramma's potato salad or Uncle Joes famous punch, and share it with your friends?!  Of course this really is not required - there will be plenty to go round. 

The party kicks off at 12PM at Blackberry Farm in Cupertino. We have rented the group picnic area called STEELHEAD.  

Please RSVP by Aug 25th  so we know how much food and beer to buy. If you have food allergies/preferences please mention it in your RSVP message and we will try to accommodate you.

If you haven't had a chance to volunteer yet (or haven't volunteered in a while) no problem. Just come to the picnic. This is a great way to meet the One Brick staff and volunteers and join in the FUN!

What we'll be doing:

Celebrating and honouring/recognising our organisation's fantastic volunteers. Introducing new staff members and encouraging all to give us inputs to help grow our chapter.  But most of all - having FUN!

What you should know:

It can get hot, though most of our tables have shade. Please wear/bring sun screen and hat. You are welcome to bring a guest or two but they MUST RSVP so we have enough food!

T-SHIRT DRIVE: Bring shirts from events you've attended that you'd like to swap or donate to a non-profit.

SURVIVAL SACK PROGRAM: We will also be collecting donations of unopened travel size hygiene items to help Sacred Heart who distribute these to people experiencing homelessness as part of their Survival Sack Program.

We'll hold a prize bag draw during the event - 1 free ticket per person.  1 free ticket for volunteers bringing Tshirt donations.  1 free ticket for volunteers bringing hygiene items.  Tickets will not be available for purchase.

Where to Meet:

Look for the One Brick sandwich sign and continue on to the second to last set of picnic tables at the back. Please remember to sign in - 1 free raffle ticket when you do!
