We'll be gathering at the Sports Basement at Stonestown where there's hopefully ample parking for a couple of hours to share some food, some drink, some laughter, some good conversation in the company of fellow volunteers that you may already know or will get to know for the very first time.

One Brick will provide several main dishes (both meat and vegetarian), beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages and our friends at Sports Basement will provide a special discount code for you to use online or in person if you feel like shopping at any of the Bay Area Sports Basement locations.

You are welcome to bring a beverage or a dessert to share but it's not required.  There will be plenty of food for everyone!

Our hard working planning team (Thank you in advance Melissa and Samantha!!) will have a fun agenda planned.

Please RSVP by no later than Friday, August 14th, 2026 @ 11:59pm.

On your RSVP please note whether you are gluten-free, vegan or vegetarian so we can plan accordingly.  Also, if you wish to contribute a potluck item, we won't hold you firmly to it, but we'll send around a Google Sheet to you.  If you want to help out and you have ideas we want to hear from you!  Thank YOU!!

What we'll be doing:

Thanking YOU the San Francisco One Brick volunteer for everything you've done recently in support of our partnering nonprofits!  Subject to change but this is what's going on for now:

  • Food
  • Drink
  • Beer + Wine (please drink responsibly)
  • Potluck if you wish (Google Sheet to be incorporated)
  • San Francisco awards both old and new
  • Surprises perhaps?!?!

What you should know:

Active One Brick volunteers only, and we do mean ACTIVE.  If you haven't taken part in a One Brick San Francisco volunteering event recently, please become currently active again and join us at a future celebration.

More details to follow via email.

Where to Meet:

At the party venue, of course!

One Brick - San Francisco/East Bay:

One Brick is a 501(c)3 nonprofit volunteer organization that brings volunteers together to support other local nonprofit organizations. One Brick has adopted an innovative twist to the volunteer experience: we create a friendly and social atmosphere around volunteering. After each volunteer event - which typically lasts only 3 to 4 hours - we invite volunteers to gather at a local restaurant or cafe where they can get to know one another in a relaxed social setting. Through our volunteer projects, we provide nonprofits with the much-needed labor to carry out their visions. At the same time we foster an environment in which our volunteers can meet new people, both socially and professionally.
