A Transformative Evening
Guests will step into an evening of beauty and purpose on the stunning San Francisco waterfront. They will be among the more than 300 passionate souls, including community members, visionary civic leaders, talented artists, dedicated mental health professionals, and esteemed guests.

Lifetime Achievement Award
We will honor Dr. Bart Magee, Founding Executive Director of Access Institute, for his visionary leadership and lasting contributions to mental health care in San Francisco.
A licensed psychologist who has practiced in the city for 25 years, Dr. Magee founded Access Institute in 2002 with the belief that comprehensive, trauma-informed care is a right, not a privilege. His lifelong commitment to community activism and training the future generation of community mental health providers has helped build a more connected and compassionate society.
What we'll be doing:
Volunteers will be helping with Coat Check upon the departure of two volunteers who will be staffing that area from 5pm to 7pm.
What you should know:
Volunteers for this shift MUST be able to work the entire shift. Please DO NOT sign up if you can not complete an entire shift.
Dress code: Cocktail attire/business casual with comfortable shoes. No jeans, t-shirts, or revealing clothing
Parking: For volunteers who are driving to the event there is a parking lot adjacent to the venue. Volunteers will be issued a ticket to place on their windshield.
Volunteer Snacks: Healthy snacks and water will be available for the volunteers.
Volunteer Dinner: Dinner will be available only to volunteers working 2 shifts or more.
Mask Policy: Masks are not required. If you are not feeling 100% healthy please let us know, stay home and rest.
Post-event Social
Time permitting, let’s head over to nearby Fisherman’s Wharf for Buena Vista Cafe, home of the original world famous Irish Coffee. Can’t think of a more perfect way to cap off an evening of volunteering!
Where to Meet:
Volunteers will meet with Paulina, Gregorio or Laura. They will be at the entrance of Pier 27. Just let somebody at the front desk know you are here to volunteer and for what position.
Please wear your orange One Brick lanyard if you have one.

Our Mission: Access Institute is committed to making quality mental health care affordable to San Franciscans, particularly to those individuals and families who fall within the broad gap between those eligible for publicly-funded mental health programs and the more affluent who have adequate insurance or the financial means to afford treatment. Along with providing direct service, Access Institute is committed to providing psychoanalytically-oriented clinical training and supervision to clinicians seeking licensure in a mental health discipline.
Description: Access Institute offers a full range of psychological services, including family, adolescent, and child therapy, adult psychotherapy (individual, couple/marital, and group therapy), geropsychology, psychological assessment and testing, and medical consultation.
