IMPORTANT:  Please RSVP for this event ONLY if you have secured a spot on the official San Francisco Recreation and Parks volunteer link.  If the page is full and you HAVE NOT secured a volunteer spot, DO NOT RSVP on this One Brick page.  Instead, please contact the One Brick Event Manager to inquire about any available openings in our group reservation.

The event day instructions will come directly from the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Come and show your appreciation for the hardworking San Francisco Recreation and Parks staff at this year's employee holiday event at the Palace of Fine Arts Theater.

The volunteer shift is from 2:30 pm to 8:30 pm, but volunteers should arrive no later than 2:15 pm. Volunteer dinner will be provided.

Come volunteer with us on December 10th as part of the event crew for our annual Employee Holiday Party. Details on whether this event is offered in shifts will be announced on a later date.

Public transportation or rideshare is highly encouraged.

What we'll be doing:

Volunteers duties to be confirmed but likely will include:

  • Event Set-up (tables, chairs, linens, etc...)
  • Catering Assistance
  • Food Servers
  • Event Tear-down

Please be flexible with your assignment.

What you should know:

  • The venue can be cold.  As always, dress in layers and casual wear is ok.  Festive holiday themed attire is always welcomed.
  • Wear comfortable closed-toed shoes.
  • Bring a filled reuseable water bottle just in case.
  • Bring whatever snacks you need to feel satisfied.

Please pack lightly as there will not be a secure place to store belongings.

Face masks are up to the individual volunteer.  If you are not feeling 100% healthy please stay home and rest.

San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department:

The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department administers more than 220 parks, playgrounds, and open spaces, including two outside the city limits-- Camp Mather in Yosemite Valley and Sharp Park in Pacifica, Calif. Our park system includes 25 recreation centers, nine swimming pools, five golf courses and numerous tennis courts, ball diamonds, soccer fields and other sports venues. Included in the department’s responsibilities are the Marina Yacht Harbor, the San Francisco Zoo, and Lake Merced.
