THE 2026 MEALS ON WHEELS STAR CHEFS & VINTNERS GALA IS BACK on SUNDAY, MAY 17!

In 2025, a record setting $5.7 million was raised at the annual gala.

This epicurean adventure will feature Northern California’s most celebrated chefs & vintners in support of San Francisco’s seniors! The funds raised at this annual event help MOWSF provide nutritious meals and support services to over 5,000 homebound seniors.

We’re looking for energetic, friendly, can-do team players to help power one of the Bay Area’s most celebrated culinary events. Whether you’re welcoming guests, supporting the silent auction, assisting vintners, or helping behind the scenes, you’ll be at the heart of the action.

What we'll be doing:

Volunteers will engage in a variety of duties based on their own choosing from 10:00am to 11:30pm:

• Auction Item Check Out - 1 shift - 6pm to 11pm
• Coat Check - 2 shifts - 2pm to 6pm / 6pm to 11pm
• Chef Fulfillment - 1 shift - 1:30pm to 5:30pm
• Chef Load-In/ Load-Out - 2 shifts - 1:30pm to 5:30pm / 5:30pm to 10:30pm
• Floaters - 3 shifts - 1pm to 4pm / 4pm to 7pm / 7pm to 11pm
• Silent Auction Guest Relations - 1 shift - 4pm to 7pm
• Silent Auction Monitor - 2 shifts - 2pm to 5pm / 6:30pm to 11:30pm
• Silent Auction Set-Up - 1 shift - 10am to 2pm
• Venue Check-in - 2 shifts - 10am to 2pm / 1pm to 4pm
• Water & Soda Station Assistant - 1 shift - 3:30pm to 6:30pm

What you should know:

THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL ONE BRICK PROJECT BUT BECAUSE SO MANY OF OUR SAN FRANCISCO AND SILICON VALLEY CHAPTER VOLUNTEERS TAKE PART EACH YEAR WE HAVE LISTED IT ONTO OUR CALENDAR SO THEY CAN EARN VOLUNTEER HOURS FOR THEIR SOMETIMES LONG SHIFTS.

Even though we hope see most of you at the event, when you RSVP above please indicate in the Notes Section what you have signed up for so that we can credit your hours properly after the event.
