Event Description:

Great Strides provides a great opportunity for people within the community to get involved in a great cause. Participants can form walk teams at their workplace, through their clubs and organizations, or with friends and family raising awareness and money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The CF Foundation has raised and invested hundreds of millions of dollars to help develop CF drugs and therapies. Through our efforts, the life expectancy of a person with CF has doubled in the last 30 years, and research to find a cure is more promising than ever before.

Great Strides provides a fantastic opportunity for family, friends, students, and colleagues to come together and make a difference. The event harnesses the power of people with a shared vision and encourages collaboration, team building, and leadership, as we take steps to find a cure for cystic fibrosis.

Your participation in Great Strides matters a lot! We don’t just want to treat CF, we want to end CF.

The time is now. Together, we can cross the finish line.

What we'll be doing:

Volunteers will be assigned to one of a number of possible tasks upon checking in.  These may include:

• Registration
• T-shirts
• Snacks
• Walk Route Support
• Event Clean up

What you should know:

Dress comfortable and in layers. There will be food and beverages available. Event will take place rain or shine.

Where to Meet:

Meeting place will be the Volunteer Check-in table at Little Marina Green.  Please look for your One Brick event manager wearing a blue Cystic Fibrosis Foundation hat and the bright orange One Brick name lanyard.  Additional details to follow.
