Event Description:
This project has been an ongoing initiative for the past 40 years. Over this time, we have successfully delivered art supplies and lessons to countless children, nurturing their artistic talents.
What we'll be doing:
For our ongoing project, volunteers will be working on assembling Art in Action's art lesson kits. This involves counting out papers, counting and sub assembling materials, and packing lessons. Your involvement in these activities is essential to our mission, as it helps us prepare art materials for distribution to schools in need.
What you should know:
The meeting place is at the Art in Action warehouse located at 1757 East Bayshore Suite 16, Redwood City, just off the Seaport exit on 101. Open parking is available for your convenience.
We recommend wearing clothing that you do not mind getting a little dirty, as some materials may be dusty. The only requirement is to wear closed-toed shoes for safety reasons.
