Event Description:
Landmarks Orchestra's concerts are free orchestra concerts held on the Hatch Shell, that aim to bring world-class music to everyone for free.
What we'll be doing:
Volunteers will be setting up and breaking down chairs, answering patron questions, giving out surveys and program sheets, talking to patrons about the concerts.
What you should know:
Please bring water bottles and snacks! Dress for the warm weather - there is no strict dress code. All volunteers will be given credentials to have access backstage, which is an air conditioned area. It's highly recommended that volunteers take the MBTA to the Esplanade/Hatch Shell, as there is no parking directly next to the venue. The main parking is about a 0.5 mile distance from the venue, either on Charles St. (street parking) or at the Boston Common Garage. Note that Boston Landmarks Orchestra does not reimburse for parking expenses/fees.
All volunteers must be up to date with their latest vaccinations.
Where to Meet:
Volunteers can check in at the Information Table, which is located on the Storrow Drive side of the DCR Hatch Shell at 5:30pm, the day of the concert. Concert staff will be available at the Information Tent at all times, so someone will be able to help volunteers, if they arrive late.
