Event Description:
The Cantor Arts Center plays a leading role in the cultural life of the Stanford campus and greater community, welcoming some 200,000 visitors a year to its 24 galleries. The Cantor's collections include more than 38,000 works of art, spanning 5,000 years of history and crossing continents from the Americas to Europe, and from Africa to Asia
Our annual student party welcomes new Stanford students to the museums. This event has been happening for more than 14 years! The activity is designed to acquaint new students with the vibrant arts on campus and our museums.
What we'll be doing:
Our volunteers will be helping greet students, share info about programs, hand out swag, help serve food, assist with storing backpacks.
What you should know:
Dress comfortably and bring something warm to wear as the evening tends to get cool and some of our volunteers will be outside of the museum as well. Comfy shoes as we will be moving around a fair amount.
