Event Description:

The Ultimate Tailgate Party is Lovin' Spoonfuls' biggest annual fundraiser. It will bring 300+ guests face to face with over 15 of Greater Boston’s best chefs and hospitality partners for a unique tailgate-inspired culinary experience. Guests will experience all-you-can-enjoy bites and beverages, engaging content from our sponsors, a silent auction with one of a kind experiences, our signature Grocery Bag Wall and Fill the Truck, opportunities to learn about our work, an inspiring speaking program featuring Host Bethany Van Delft, and more.

What we'll be doing:

6 volunteers will be manning the registration table, helping guests check in, and 4 will assisting with our fundable opportunities 

What you should know:

We are looking for people who are comfortable interacting with our guests. You will have the opportunity to take a break and enjoy some of the food at the event.

Volunteers should meet at Garage B at the Charles River Speedway at 1420 Soldier's Field Road, Boston, MA  02135. 

Lovin' Spoonfuls:

Lovin’ Spoonfuls is dedicated to facilitating the rescue and distribution of healthy, fresh food that would otherwise be discarded. Lovin’ Spoonfuls works efficiently to deliver this food directly to the community organizations and resources where it can have the greatest impact. Lovin’ Spoonfuls is committed to addressing the health, environmental, and economic impact that food waste has on our community.

We pick up wholesome, fresh food that would otherwise be thrown away from grocery stores, produce wholesalers, farms and farmers markets, and distribute it to community non-profits that feed Greater Boston’s hungry.
