Event Description:
Mountain View is home to one of the largest and oldest Art & Wine festivals in California. Presented by the Chamber of Commerce, this multicultural celebration is a sampler for the senses with 650 artists, several local restaurants and nonprofit groups dishing up flavorful world cuisine, premium wines and microbrews, a diverse range of continuous music and Kids'' Park featuring games and activities for children of all ages.
This is their 49 1/2 pint art and wine event that the Chamber of Commerse is putting on, and will be held in the CalTrain Parking Lot on West Evelyn Ave, in Mountain View.
FYI this year due to the impact of the health emergency, festival attendees have to pre-register to reserve a festival ticket. Entrance to the festival is still FREE. Having experienced volunteers from One Brick will ensure a smooth process for all.
What we'll be doing:
One Brick volunteers will be checking in attendees at the festival entrance, and line control. We will be using scanners/Ipads to scan the attendee's tickets. This is new to the festival attendees as they had to pre-register to reserve a festival ticket. Entrance to the event is still FREE.
What you should know:
Wear sunscreen, hat, and comfortable shoes as you will on your feet the whole shift. Volunteer T-shirts will be provided at check-in to wear while at the event. Water is provided, but please bring your own snacks. This gives us a chance to promote One Brick, please wear any One Brick merchandise you have (hat, shades, lanyard).. The organization is trying to obtain an area for volunteer parking, and secure bike parking.
