Event Description:

Every year, One Brick Chicago works to make connections with organizations around the Chicagoland area at the Chicago Volunteer Expo who are in need of volunteers for their upcoming events. Obviously, the organizers for the Volunteer Expo had to make adjustments to the 2021 expo and we as a chapter will be doing the same.

This year the Chicago Volunteer Expo will be virtual on https://chicagovolunteerexpo.org; connecting potential volunteers with organizations online in a day long event.

One Brick Chicago will be participating in this year's expo in a different capacity than previous years as we will not be exhibitors but attend the event on the other side to engage with the exhibitors directly and introduce them to One Brick. This proved to be a very effective method last year before the pandemic started and we are hoping to utilize it again as we work toward identfying communities and organizations in need.

What we'll be doing:

Registering and attending the Chicago Volunteer Expo as a repesentative of One Brick Chicago. Engaging with potential non-profit organizations to form relationship for future volunteer event opportunities.
