Event Description:
The Coney Island USA Spring Gala is the premiere fundraising event for Coney Island USA. This benefit draws a host of celebrities, trendsetters, and performances by superstars of the Burlesque and Sideshow movement, as well as live music and more. Let’s help out Coney Island USA in celebrating their annual Spring gala. This year the gala is being held at The New York Aquarium in Coney Island.
What we'll be doing:
Volunteers will be needed at registration and raffle tables, be guides and assist in the VIP and performers dressing rooms.
What you should know:
Age requirement to volunteer and attend this event is 21 years and older. Volunteers are not permitted to drink alcohol at this event. Please be warned that if a volunteer is caught drinking alcohol and/or is seen being inebriated, you will be asked to leave. Dress up however you like, classy, sassy, sharp and fun.
Coney Island USA:
Coney Island USA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation based in the amusement park area of the Coney Island neighborhood of Brooklyn New York. In existence since 1983, Coney Island USA has developed and produces a number of different programs including some of New York Citys best loved summer programming, such as the Mermaid Parade and the Coney Island Circus Sideshow. Coney Island USA also operates the Coney Island Museum and produces Ask the Experts, Burlesque at the Beach, the Coney Island Tattoo and Motorcycle Festival, Creepshow at the Freakshow, and the Coney Island Sideshow School.
