Event Description:
The 408k Race to the Row is an 8k, kids run, and k-9 dog parade. The race will start in downtown San Jose at the SAP center and end in Santana Row. The 408k's official beneficiary is the Pat Tillman Foundation. This locally founded non-profit provides academic scholarships, professional development opportunities and a national network to empower military service members, veterans and spouses.
What we'll be doing:
We will be handing out food, water and medals, and cheer on runners as they cross the finish line.
Dress in layers as the morning of the race may be cold.
What you should know:
****Attention: After you RSVP with One Brick above, ALL volunteers must register with Run Local in order to reserve your spot to volunteer. The link to register is here.***
Parking: Please allow yourself enough time to find parking here and arrive by 7:45am at the meeting location (intersection of Santana Row and Tatum Lane).
Attire: Wear layers, comfortable shoes, and sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen).
Also... volunteers will receive a goodie bag at the start of your shift (snacks and water included).
