Hurricane Harvey Rebuilding Trip Travel
Flights:
Please send Graham at GrahamP@onebrick.org your travel plans when booked.
Cars:
Due to the distance between the volunteer lodging and the volunteer sites traveling by car is recommended. Volunteers can either get together to share rental cars or organise their own taxi's to/from the airport, city and work sites.
- For those renting a car please let us know if you have free spots for the ride from/to the airport and during the trip.
- For those looking to share a ride please mention that when you send the flight details and we will try to introduce you to volunteers arriving similar times.
- Please be aware that if you share a ride you are expected to help contribute to the total cost of that rental car. Rates often range between $150-300 plus gas. Suggested contribution to your driver c. $75-$130 depending on total number of passengers. Please organize with the driver directly.
Arrival time:
- You may arrive at the hostel anytime after 12pm on Sunday. A group meeting will be held that evening, more details to be provided by Graham closer to the date of the event
