Event Description:

Look for birds, mammals, and animal tracks as we explore along the water’s edge on this 3.7-mile nature walk at the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Alviso. 
 
Bring binoculars and your favorite field guide to help enjoy the views. Have at least one liter of water, snacks, and appropriate clothing. Led by Steve Stolper, certified California Naturalist. 
 
Rain will cancel this hike due to possibly muddy trail.
 
We'll meet at 9:50 am to get signed in.
 
After the hike, we'll go to Maria Elena's, 1450 Gold Street, Alviso, for lunch.

 

What we'll be doing:

Taking a 3.7 mile nature walk led by a park naturalist.

What you should know:

Bring binoculars,at least one liter of water, snacks, and appropriate clothing for the hike. Rain will cancel.

Bring $ for lunch in Alviso afterwards.
