Event Description:

The Taste of Des Plaines is one of the most popular summer festivals in the area. Families, friends and neighbors from all around the Chicagoland area attend this free two-day event featuring great food from our local restaurants, live entertainment on two stages, a Wine & Beer Garden, a family area with free activities, Classic Car show and so much more!

What we'll be doing:

Stage assistants: Help bands during transitions from the stage, provide assistance to the stage manager and assist bands as needed.

Info tent and festival services: Volunteers assist staff with executing various production needs, greet guests and provide info

What you should know:

Comfortable clothes/shoes recommended for volunteers. Event is outdoors, so hats and sunscreen are recommended.

Free parking is available in the library garage as well as in Metropolitan Square 647 Metropolitan Way, Des Plaines

We will meet at Info tent on Ellinwood, near the Public Library 1501 Ellinwood Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016 

Just steps away from the UPNW Des Plaines Metra train and downtown Des Plaines, parking is free and easily accessible.
