Event Description:

JOIN US AS WE SUPPORT WONDER WORKS CHILDREN'S MUSEUM AND PILGRIM CHURCH OF OAK PARK IN MAKING FRESH DONUTS FOR THE OAK PARK FARMER'S MARKET.

Pilgrim Church partners with more than a dozen local non-profit organizations each summer to make the donuts and coffee at the Oak Park Farmers Market. They share the revenue with the organizations and help to get information about these organizations out to the Oak Park Community.

What we'll be doing:

Volunteers will run the booths where the donuts are sold, as well as help in the kitchen, making donuts from scratch, frying them in a fryer, powdering and stuffing boxes. Volunteers will also assist with the clean-up after the event.

What you should know:

This event will be held rain or shine, so dress appropriately. Also, if you are volunteering in the kitchen, closed toe shoes, t-shirts, pants, and hats are a must

Where to Meet:

We will be in the kitchen located in the basement of Pilgrim Church, the entrance will be on the North side of the building.

Wonder Works Children's Museum:

Wonder Works is 6,400 square feet of fun, a place of creative play for kids birth to age eight. Located in Oak Park, Illinois at 6445 West North Avenue, the children's museum helps kids, their parents and caregivers unleash their imaginations through art, performance, design, building and more.
