Event Description:
Seattle's Winter Wonderland Carousel benefits area foster children through Treehouse. Last year more than 900 toys and clothing items were brought back to the warehouse from the donation barrels at the carousel. Your involvement will help make the holiday season brighter for youth in foster care.
After signing up, please fill out the following waiver: http://onebrick.treehouseforkids.volunteerhub.com/ All Treehouse volunteers must complete a volunteer waiver authorizing a background check a minimum of 2 days prior to their volunteer date. All volunteers must complete the waiver even if you've volunteered with Treehouse previously... thank you for your cooperation!
What we'll be doing:
One Brick will be on hand to help patrons with tickets, hand out donation bags and make sure everyone has a smooth, fun ride!
What you should know:
Plan to wear WARM, comfy shoes, WARM clothing and be ready for wind/rain/cold. The carousel runs regardless of weather, so come prepared.
There is no storage for personal items during volunteering.
Since we'll be around children, all volunteers must sign up with Treehouse and submit information for a background check. Please click here and create a profile. Once you have access to the shiftboard, click on 'Calendar' and look for the One Brick shift on December 4th to sign up for one of the spots.
If you would like to bring youth volunteers, please be aware that volunteers under 18 MUST complete the Parent/Guardian Authorization form. Please bring a signed copy of the form to the event.
Where to Meet:
Volunteers check in at the ticket booth. Look for the One Brick sign.
