Event Description:

We will be helping out with the Goodwill of Silcon Valley's Goodfest. This is their annual employee appreciation event. There will be food, games, crafts, and more.

What we'll be doing:

We will be food runners to various food stands and monitoring/directing the food line. We have also volunteered to help clean up.

What you should know:

Volunteers will receive a free lunch. They can dress comfortably and casually for the event. Standing will be a big part of the day.

It’s the underemployed or unemployed with a lack of job skills who receive training and paid work experience. It’s the local and international markets that benefit from our products. It’s local companies that partner with us through our GoodSource and GoodEx services. It’s the 20.4 million pounds of goods that Goodwill diverts from the landfill annually. But most importantly, it’s the community members who receive services through our programs each year.
