Event Description:
Yulefest is a holiday road race through Harvard Square.
Long before Christmas, there was a quirky winter festival named "Yule" that people really loved. Join us on 12/10/17 for a 5K race that takes the holidays back to their old school roots!
The race starts & finishes in front of Harvard Yard and is immediately followed by an epic block party at the Parking lot on Church Street that's sponsored by four local craft brewers.
Volunteering includes a Yulefest Hat and admission to the post-race Yule party (21+) featuring an awesome mix of old school hip hop & holiday favorites!
Your participation helps local charities and also supports One Brick Boston!
What we'll be doing:
Bag Check: greeting runners, organizing bags after they are dropped off, helping runners pick up bags after the race
What you should know:
All volunteers receive a knit hat + free admission to the post-race block party sponsored by Slumbrew, Notch, and Bantam Cider (ALL food & beer is complimentary and the party goes from 10:00a - 1:00p).
You must be 21 or older to volunteer at this event - we cannot make any exceptions!!
Where to Meet:
All volunteers should check in with their Event Manager, Dave, by 7:30 am at the registration tent. Please be on time!! Volunteers who arrive late should check in at the volunteer table inside the registration tent.
