Event Description:

THE 2025 MEALS ON WHEELS STAR CHEFS & VINTNERS GALA IS BACK on SUNDAY, MAY 18!

This listing is for administrative hours shifts served from Wednesday, May 14th thru Saturday, May 17th and/or set-up shifts on either Friday, May 16th or Saturday, May 17th.

In 2023, a record setting $3.8 million was raised at the annual gala.

This epicurean adventure will feature Northern California’s most celebrated chefs & vintners in support of San Francisco’s seniors! The funds raised at this annual event help MOWSF provide nutritious meals and support services to over 5,000 homebound seniors.

The Gala provides invaluable funding and contributes directly to the operational budget that ensures MOWSF's mission continues. Volunteering for this event is a fun, impactful, and memorable way to contribute to your community and support our elders

What we'll be doing:

Volunteers will engage in a variety of duties based on their own choosing from Wednesday, May 14th thru Saturday, May 17th.

Event Catering Set-up and Staging - 2 shifts - [Friday, May 16th - 12pm to 4pm] / [Saturday, May 17th - 12pm to 4pm]

Office Admin - 4 shifts - [Wednesday, May 14th - 9am to 12pm] / [Thursday, May 15th - 10am to 2pm] / [Friday, May 16th - 9am to 12pm] / [Saturday, May 17th - 10am to 2pm]

What you should know:

THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL ONE BRICK PROJECT BUT BECAUSE SO MANY OF OUR SAN FRANCISCO AND SILICON VALLEY CHAPTER VOLUNTEERS TAKE PART EACH YEAR WE HAVE LISTED IT ONTO OUR CALENDAR SO THEY CAN EARN VOLUNTEER HOURS FOR THEIR SOMETIMES LONG SHIFTS.

Since our previous Meals on Wheels San Francisco contacts are no longer there, we will rely on the honor system in giving you your hours.  Although we'll see most of you at the event, when you RSVP above please indicate in the Notes Section what you have signed up for so that we can credit your hours properly after the event.

There are major changes with the 2025 event so variables in terms of volunteer perks are currently unavailable.
