Event Description:
Join us as we do the 2021 #PixInParks Santa Clara County Parks hikes!
What we'll be doing:
Santa Clara County Parks has set a 2021 challenge! They've hand picked seven magnificent hiking adventures, all nearby, to get you outside and experience new terrain and spectacular vistas. And to entice you to hike the Magnificent 7, a commemorative t-shirt or bandana awaits those who complete the #PixInParks challenge!
What you should know:
8 miles, approximately 3 hours, this is an extended version of the Santa Clara County PixInParks hike. Usual recommendations, good hiking shoes, layers, water, snacks, sunscreen etc…
Hike starts from the main parking lot, heading out on the Oak Cove trail for approximately 5 miles, then left on Serpentine Loop, left Perla trail (where the PixInParks location will be found), then finally right on Oak Cove trail back to the parking lot.

Where to Meet:
Traveling to the park on southbound Highway 101, exit Bailey Ave (Exit 373) and turn right. Head west on Bailey Ave until you reach McKean Rd. Turn left and continue about 0.5 miles and the entrance to the park will be on your right. Alternatively take Almaden Expressway South until it terminates at Harry Rd, turn right on Harry and almost immediately left on McKean Rd, continue along McKean past the reservoir until reaching the park entrance on the right.
